Encore Designs are unique!
The mission of The Art Without Boundaries Association is to improve the quality of life for individuals with disorders of the brain such as Alzheimer’s, autism, stroke and traumatic brain injury.
AWBA founder, Noell Hammer uses the paintings created in a session of MnemeTherapy to create abstract impressionistic designs that honors their achievements and struggles.
Proceeds from Encore Designs provide grants and scholarships to train artists in this life- changing therapy and offer the therapy at no cost to the client.
Artist Statement
Abstract artist Noell Hammer creates vivid, contemporary works that explore themes of emotion, identity, and resilience. Rooted in her twenty plus years working with clients with dementia, autism and stroke, she has personally experienced the heart break of losing a loved one to Alzheimer’s disease.
Noell’s art transforms complex feelings into striking visual narratives, inspired by original paintings created by clients during a session of MnemeTherapy.
Through bold colors and intentional abstraction, she invites viewers to pause, reflect, and find personal meaning in the achievements of individuals who were willing to let go of the belief that they were not an artist and pick up the paintbrush.
Her pieces serve as a powerful reminder that, no matter the challenge, everyone has the power to change the paradigm. And that each person, regardless of their human condition deserves dignity, respect and the opportunity to express themselves.
